Q: Can “The Arm Thing” be used by persons disabled with injuries causing quadriplegic condition?
A: Yes, provided they are able to move their upper torso toward the device. We have a client (pictured below) who is a paraplegic; she only has slight movement in one shoulder but is still able to use the device.
Q: What does it cost?
A: The short version is $449.00 plus shipping and handling, the extended wrist version is $479.00 plus shipping and handling.
Q: Do you have a money back policy?
A: Yes, you have 30 days from the date of the invoice to return it with the invoice and receive the cost of the device less shipping back.
Q: Does it really work?
A: Absolutely yes, but you do have to have at least a little strength somewhere in the arms or shoulder, or hands.
Q: How hard is it to learn to use?
A: “The Arm Thing” is not hard to use but it does take a little practice. You will learn fast because you will find yourself enjoying being able to feed yourself again.
Q: What if my hands won’t hold a utensil?
A: Some clients are using strap on utensils. Remember, we allow 30 days to see if you can use it.
Q: I have especially weak wrists. Will I be able to use an "Arm Thing"?
A: Yes; but be sure to order the extended wrist version (below) to obtain its added wrist support.

A: Amazingly No! It weighs only 2 1/2 pounds and is made from lightweight aluminum and high density plastic. That makes it easy for anyone to move and yet it still will not slip during use.
